A man, middle aged, standing by the trains. He could smell the thick smoke from the coal burning. As he waited for the train’s to arrive, he could hear it screeching in the far distance. The lights started changing from red to green and the rail started to switch sides scraping on the rusty rails.The train pulled up and the smoke overtook peoples breathing, the children were screaming as the man threw them on one by one. Theres two trains one very upper class with black shiny varnish painted along the sides, smooth seats on the inside, and the other looking as if it were to carry animals, loose wooden planks sticking out the sides, bolts missing which were keeping the train in one piece and barely any seats inside, most children were standing all crammed together.
The man, throwing the children on the train whilst thinking of his own, doesn’t exactly understand why he’s there, just following commands. Remembering when he was a child, getting on train with his family passing through the country side, smelling the fresh air and seeing the tall trees and green grass, not like how it was where he lived just roads nothing else, no colour. He loved getting on trains, every Friday he took a trip with his family to lake Müritz.
The train started moving, the children were crying, gasping for air as they all was trying to inhale the fresh air from the small windows.
